Full list of bridges

This is a large, static list of all bridges and gateways known to this site. It is automatically generated from the bridges data file.

Legend for template replacements

FROM is the service of the address you want to convert.
TO is the service you want to use the new address on.
{FROM_USER} should be replaced with the username part (i.e. "johnmastodon" in "@johnmastodon@mastodon.social").
{FROM_DOMAIN} should be replaced with the domain part (i.e. "matrix.org" in "#matrix-hq:matrix.org").
{FROM_PUBKEY} should be replaced with the public key, for services that use them. If you don't know what this is, you don't need it.
{FROM} should be replaced with the full ID. In some services, this is identical to {FROM_USER} or {FROM_PUBKEY} and this should be preferred.

You can use this directly, which might still be helpful, but you probably want to use the wizard if you can use JavaScript. The wizard will transform the given account ID for you.

Warning:

At this time, these features ARE known to work between the two networks, for bridges using the Mostr software (the only one listed right now does).

  • Following accounts. ActivityPub accounts do receive follow notifications.
  • Replying to posts.
  • Seeing profile information (this may take some time, and images may not load).
  • Seeing and sending images.

These features are known NOT to work:

  • Favoriting. You can do it, but it won’t carry over to the other network.
  • Boosting/repeating. You can do it, but like favoriting, it won’t carry over to the other network.
  • Zapping. I’m not exactly sure what this is but ActivityPub doesn’t support this at all.
  • Direct messages. While Nostr’s DMs appear to be end-to-end encrypted, most Fediverse DM systems are not, and are not received in any form on the Fediverse end.
